beef burrito recipe

Here is a simple beef burrito recipe! You can use any kind of beef that you like and left over steaks work great. This recipe is just an idea of how little amount of ingredients go a long way.

You will need the following for this dish:

  • 1 lb. Beef, cut into strips
  • 1-2 Red Hot Chiles
  • Handful of Cilantro
  • 1 Avocado
  • 2 Green Onions
  • 1 Garlic, minced
  • 1 small tomato, diced
  • 1 T. Vegetable Oil
  • Hot Sauce- Optional

Serve with rice or with a refreshing mango salad!

Switch it up! Use chicken instead of beef!

To prepare this dish, start off by pre-heating a skillet and preparing all the ingredients needed for this recipe. Dice up the tomatoes, red chiles and green onions. Chop up the cilantro and mince the garlic. Next, peel the avocado and place it in a bowl. Smash it up. 

Next, season the beef strips with salt and pepper on both sides. Once the pan is hot, add a touch of vegetable oil and cook the beef strips until browned. Meanwhile, place the tortillas in the microwave and heat them up for about 1 minute. 

To serve: Spread the avocado onto the tortillas. Add the beef strips and the rest of the ingredients. 

Add hot sauce if desired.
