Chicken Recipes

Welcome to mealplan4me's collection of chicken recipes!

Chicken is very affordable and can be purchased whole, quartered or packaged separately by drumsticks, thighs, wings, or breast. Some packages are a combo of these, so purchase them depending on what you plan to make. Drumsticks work best if you are grilling, but the others can be used in almost any type of dish. If you are cost conscious, I recommend purchasing it as whole and learn how to quarter it as this is an affordable option. Or, you can look for grocery deals on already quartered chicken.

Chicken Recipes List

This is probably one of the easiest methods of cooking chicken. With just a few added seasonings, all you need to do is put it in the oven and wait for it to cook!

I just love fried chicken! Since I try to eat healthy, I don't make this dish as often as I would like. I believe in moderation, so throwing in a few fried foods into my diet every so often will not hurt!

Grilled chicken is probably one of the most common ways I cook chicken. It is one of my go to methods, especially during busy weeknights!

Stir Fry

One pot dishes are so great if you are looking for no fuss recipes with minimal clean up! I created the Orange Chicken Stir Fry recipe with the help of a store bought glaze, which sped up the cooking process! I would love to add to my collection of stir fry below, so please submit a recipe of your favorite dishes!

I love roasting whole chicken, especially if I want leftovers. I roast mine by brushing on extra virgin olive oil and adding a few spices. Every time I prepare it this way, the chicken turns out to be very juicy!

Roast Chicken

I've been making this chicken soup recipe for the past 20 years! It was one of my go to meals while in college! It was one of the only meals I knew how to make at the time, but I made so much of it, it lasted most of the week! I just love this recipe!

Fried Chicken Livers

Either you love chicken livers and are looking for other recipes, or you are unsure and just curious about this recipe. I can tell you first hand as a beef liver hater, yes hater, I absolutely love chicken livers. I decided to try this recipe out and just love it.

The only modification I made with this recipe is to add hot red pepper flakes to the livers before flouring them. I only did this because we just love spicy food! Otherwise, I cooked it as-is, true to the recipe.

As you can see, there are many different ways to prepare chicken. You can boil, bake, fry, and grill it, just to name a few. It has got to be the best for beginners. It is what I used to learn how to cook and it is how I started and kept making it day after day. I was so proud of it, too. I didn't seem to get sick of it. It actually built my confidence up as well. I tried so many different recipes which helped me learn to start experimenting and creating my own dishes. I would love to hear from you and what chicken recipes you love. Share with others by filling out the form below.

Hope you enjoy my chicken recipes!
