Welcome to mealplan4me's Weekly Menu Planning Ideas! I look for meals that are quick to make during busy weeknights. The meal ideas featured are either my own recipes or those I find on the internet. Breakfast & Lunch Ideas!


Breakfast

Lunch

  • Oatmeal, topped with fresh berries and chia seeds
  • Bagel with cream cheese
  • Cold Cereal
  • Hard boiled eggs, on top of toast or rice cakes
  • Protein Bar
  • Smoothies
  • Bananas topped with peanut butter
  • Greek yogurt, topped with fresh fruit and sliced almonds





  • Leftovers
  • Sandwiches- peanut butter, deli meat
  • Salads- I purchased a large container just for salads. I'll make sure to prepare it the night before cutting up all of the veggies and lettuce. I then place the salad dressing in a tiny tupperware container and pour it on the salad the next day. 
  • Canned Tuna or Sardines- Goes great on top of the salads or eat them with crackers
  • Canned Soups

How Does My Weekly Menu Work?

Mealplan4me has a variety of menu planning ideas and recipes ranging from low-calorie to higher calorie foods. Depending on what your goals are, you can pick and choose recipes of what will work for you. My website is not a health-focused website, but rather, provide you with menu planning ideas of what type of quick and easy meals you can make on your own so you do not have to resort to weekly fast food runs.

I like to set you up with a variety of menu planning ideas. With my meal planning system, I plan for 5 nights of dinner meals, use my staple list for breakfast & lunch, and reserve the other 2 nights for leftovers, soup or whatever items you want to clean out from the fridge!


Where Do I Get My Recipes?

Each of the recipes listed on this site are either my own recipes, recipes submitted to my site from fellow food lovers or gathered from other websites. Feel free to use the menu as-is or use it each week to get ideas to create your own menus. 


Why Is My Weekly Menu Planning Ideas Free?

I know how hard it is to work full-time and not have the time to plan long drawn out meals each week. I also know how hard it is to pay for a service to do this for you as some can be expensive. Since cooking is very therapeutic for me and I just happen to love meal planning (for fun, yes, for fun)! I wanted to provide everyone my dinner ideas that I will be using any given day of the week, free of charge. Also, there is affiliate marketing and ads on this website that can help this site going for free. 

I really want to make life as simple as possible, so why not pay it forward? All I ask, is for you to share my website with others! Thanks in advance!


How to Create Your Own Menus!


Breakfast

I never plan for breakfast, but always make sure to have breakfast items on hand so I can pick and choose what I want to eat in the morning. I usually eat oatmeal, but also like to eat cold cereal, bagels or just have a smoothie. One way to make sure you always have enough breakfast items in stock is to create a staple list. This list will have all of your favorite breakfast items on hand and if used correctly, you'll not only never have to plan for breakfast, but you'll also never run out of your favorite items! I try to plan breakfast items that I can easily transport to work. I purchased a few tupperware items just to make the transport easier. This way, even if I have to be at work early, I still make time for breakfast!


Lunch

I never plan for lunch. I usually make enough dinner the night before to make sure I have left overs for lunch. One issue most of us have is not having enough time in the morning to prep for lunch. This causes a lot of people to end up eating out which can cost you hundreds of dollars a month. If you plan accordingly, you can make sure to have lunch covered everyday of the week, especially during your work week. As with breakfast, you'll need to create a staple list for lunch. This list will be very important especially if you do not have leftovers from the night before. This staple list can also be used for snacks and drinks!


Dinner

This is the only part of the day I plan for. I try to experiment with different dishes and rarely follow a recipe as-is, unless it is a recipe I am trying out for the first time. I also try to pick meals that are not too time consuming since it is hard to come home after a busy day and start cooking. I usually reserve the more difficult meals for the weekends.
