Learn How to Create a Quick and Easy Grocery List

Here is an approach to creating a quick and easy grocery list.

First, take a peek at your "zones". What items need replenishing? Or, which items do you need to use this week?

If you have items that need replenishing, then add them to your list. If you find items that need to be used, then incorporate them into your meals or plan to consume them that coming week.

Next, you will need to decide whether to go through your local newspaper grocery store advertisements for deals.

If you want to by pass this step and go straight to planning out your meals, then do so.

Make sure your weekly list includes all the dinner menu items you plan to make, the list of ingredients needed, followed by the recipe.

Once I determine which meals I plan to make for the week, on a separate sheet of paper, I create my shopping list. Remember, only list the items needed from your staple list and your planned menu.

For Example:

For Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks: No need to plan. check out your staple list and pick and choose what you like to eat and drink.

It's that simple since you already have it on hand. How easy is that!

For Dinner: Since you don't commit yourself to eating certain meals on certain days, you have the luxury of picking and choosing what you feel like eating.

I do recommend, however, that you should pick which dinner meal you want to eat the night before in case you need to thaw meat or make special preparations.

Otherwise, check your list when you get home from work, school, etc. and start cooking!
