Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Cook time: 20 min

Serves: 4

Try this elegant and easy Roasted Brussel Sprouts recipe! Ok.. maybe it is not one of your favorite vegetables or you may have avoided them up to this point. Most people that I know, have! I admit, so did I until I tried roasting them. Roasting them makes them so flavorful. All it takes is 15-20 minutes in the oven and that's it! So, don't hesitate to try this dish. Once I got a taste for them, I started incorporating them in in my other recipes!

You will need the following for this Roasted Brussel Sprouts Recipe:

  • 1 pound of Brussel Sprouts
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt

To prepare this dish, start by pre-heating the oven to 425 degrees F. As the oven is pre-heating, you will need to wash and prepare them. To clean, you will need to cut off the hard stem and cut them in half. Place them on a cookie sheet. Once the oven is pre-heated, drizzle some extra virgin olive oil. Give them a good mix making sure each one is coated with the olive oil. Add some salt, place in the oven and roast until done. It should take about 15-20 minutes.

These go great with just about any main course dish! I usually serve it with a variety of beef or chicken dishes. You can serve it with steaks, baked chicken or even grilled chicken!
