Welcome to my salad recipes! Few of the recipes below are very basic, non gourmet salads. Depending on whether it is a main course or served as a side dish, you can dress them up or down as you wish. If you decide to serve it as a main dish, protein is usually served with it, either on the side, or placed on top such as steak, chicken, fish, shrimp. For the salad dressing, you can either purchase and use your favorite dressing on any of these salads or you can create your own. My typical salad dressing is a quick mix of olive oil, lemon juice and salt. It's that easy!
